Videndum ESG Report 2023

Videndum as a group are serious about reducing their carbon emissions and improving business practices.  One of these initiatives is by embedding product development specifically to consider the product life cycle, which we think will certainly help both your products and extend the lifetime of new products.

This is clearly laid out in a 2023 63 page ESG strategy report which can be downloaded here

It includes:

  • Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (“ESOS”) is a mandatory energy audit that Videndum must conduct every four years, to assess the energy used by our UK buildings.
  • Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (“SECR”) requires Videndum to disclose its energy usage, associated emissions, energy efficiency actions and energy performance
  • Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (“TCFD”) mandated by the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) requires UK premium-listed companies to report against the TCFD recommendations on a “comply or explain” basis.
  • Carbon Disclosure Project (“CDP”) is an international voluntary disclosure, focusing on environmental impact management.
  • Global Reporting Initiative (“GRI”) is an international voluntary ESG reporting standards framework.
  • We follow the Greenhouse Gas (“GHG”) Protocol Corporate Standards and Guidance for companies to prepare our annual GHG emissions inventory.
  • We intend to align our net zero carbon strategy with the Science-Based Targets Initiative (“SBTi”).
